which part is the management interview?

Hi all..

i went for the walk-in interview (in jakarta) on 21st march, thank God, i passed and i'll be having my 2nd interview in 2 days (16 april).

i dont really understand which is the management intv...

my 1st interview was conducted by SQ CENTER...
1st round.. 10 of us went to a room and introuce ourself..
there were 8 ppl who passed that 1st round..

then we have an english proficiency test and another 4 to 1 interview...
at the end of the day, only 4 ppl survived..
they must be very selective!!

a week ago, they emailed and said that i'll be having my FINAL INTERVIEW on monday..

will it be the kebaya fitting and stuff?
oww... i'm so nervous...

can somebody tell me what i'll be facing on this interview?
it'll really help...

MAnagement interview for us was 2-1.

We were being interviewed by managers, high ranking officials.

I dunno if it'll be the same for u.


We had kebaya and skincheck at the 2nd round.

But dun worry ok?
U've come so far. U have the potential to make it.

just got home from the interview...
i managed to get thru... so happy.........

the 1st round was trying the kebaya... we did'nt have a skin check..
then 2nd round is 2-1..

the waiting was quite frustrating...

just have to do the medical.. hopefully i'll get thru the medical too...

well.. i'm sure i passed coz my fam n friends are praying 4 me..

before the 4-1 interview i watched a video bout a restaurant waiter that can't answer customer's question bout the food...
so the 1st question was about my opinion bout that video and what i will do if i'm in that situation..
- do u think customer service is important? why?
- if a passanger makes u angry, how will u react?
- do u do housework?
- are u aware that cleaning the toilets is also a part of cabin crew job?
- why do u want to join SIA?

think that's all...

2-1 was more like chatting...
the questions were just flowing.. started with my educational background which is graphic design.. and why i want to be a cabin crew instead of graphic designer.. i said coz i want to travel..
then he asked, where i want to go.. it's really like chatting..
they also asked bout family, daily activities (think they're looking for active ones), and also my weakness...
oh.. and they also wanted to know if do housework or not..

i messed up a bit.. and not so sure that i'll pass...
ahahhaha... so i said it's my fam n friend's prayer that made me passed...

so, have u tried before?

i think that's about the same for every interview, right? cos people i've spoken to and personal experience, it was all about that! and they do like to ask about why sia, do you do housework, customer service and weakness

i am not as lucky as you. although i pray hard everyday but
btw i am Indonesian too.
i tried appy once in Spore (coz i am a PR here) but they rejected me straight at front door. They said either i have to be Spore citizen or Degree cert then they will allow me to go in for interview. but i only have local poly diploma cert
so i really envy people tat got chance to try SQ.

i attended the interview last year Dec. how abt you? they also reject you at front door? are you indonesian too?
i tried to call SIA HR and checked regarding this matter but they said must have Degree for other nationality regradless you have PR or not.
care to share with me your story?
