What's the difference between a "Manager" and "Management"?

Job titles aren't too useful these days anyway... the person serving your French Fries at McD's a a Sales Coordinator, I know a Sales Executive thus named so she can be fired without notice, and none of the Sales Managers I know actually have any other people to manage.
