Transport to Orchard from Balmoral Rd

Hi everyone,

We are considering Belmond Green on Balmoral Road which seems like quite a nice area.

Unfortunately there is no shuttle bus from our condo and since my husband works on Orchard Road we are keen to hear how others in Belmond Green or Balmoral Road travel to Orchard.

We understand the walk is not long to Newton station but given the heat and the frequent showers there will be days walking is not an option! Would it be possible to use a shuttle bus from another condo? If so can someone please let us know which condo near us has this facility.

As this is the only thing that is a big question mark for us in regards to accepting this condo we would really appreciate any advice.

Plenty of buses to Orchard go along Stevens Rd. There is a bus stop on Stevens just at the end of Balmoral.

Not sure which end of Balmoral Rd that condo is, but you can either take the 190 (and probably other buses) from Stephens Rd to Orchard, or head to Bukit Timah Rd and catch the 171 or 700 - all of them being SMRT buses.

Thanks everyone We would love to have a shuttle bus but ah well, not to be for that area!
