Property consultancy company oversea?

Post by Winxkid » Wed, 11 Apr 2007 7:12 am

I've thought of a investment idea but not very such how well its gonna workout. That is to setup a property consultancy in Jakarta, & work as a liaison with local(SIN) office to lure their investments here or S.E.A. Majoring in property investment.

How it works,
Setup a office here & Jakarta.

SIN office will be doing market research & property search.
Jakarta will be in charge of marketing & luring investors over.

Due to the fact that Indonesian millionaires are finding Singapore as their second home or choice of property investment.

Do You think its worth it?

haha thanks for Your reply,

Indonesia has 3b population, the largest muslim country in the world, if You are telling me majority of their millionaires are here in Singapore to invest already, its quite hard to believe.

Cause from what I obtain from the Media, investments & property purchase by indonesians are increasing rapidly, but, its still not yet to break the 3-figures.

It is a growing market :D

Aside from the big five Indonesian families, everything else worth anything is owned by Indonesian Chinese who have already parked most of their money here in Singapore and other offshore investment areas to get it out of Indonesia. Who do you think the biggest users of LPR? Indonesian Chinese Students. Sent here by their parents to get them out of the Country in case of a worst case scenario.

Then in the first place, you shouldn't ask people for advice. You can do better on your own..

Actually, Wixkid, it's your spelling, if you ARE a businessman as you claim, that makes you look stupid. ..... oh, I forgot .....haha. #-o

:-k Sorry, I should have noticed before, my bad! It could seemly be, by your spelling and sensitivity, and the desire to have a Indo-Sin venture that you may well be Indonesian-Chinese yourself. If that is the case, then you should learn not to be so thin-skinned. You'll go further that way......

Kid,

Did you know that the majority of private property for investment in Singapore is owned by Indonesians? More Indonesians than Singaporeans own private property in Singapore for investment.

So you think: great, I have potential customers then!

Too fast and not well thought.

These Indonesians have their contacts in Singapore and know all needed for their investments.

So they do not need a middle man or a marketeer like yourself, Winxkid.

You have no added value to these people, they have their networks, their contacts and their tools.

Why would they need Winxkid?

What does Winxkid know that they do not know but that they need to know?

Think about it.

Opportunities are the basis for your business, but you need a bit more research and businessplanning to see if the potential customers qualify.

Lead qualification, google it.
Time will come....

Finally, this point i gotta agree with You. Let me check up the number of millionaires in indo & the amount of investments in Singapore by them.

Anyway, just an initial
