Purchasing Property in Singapore

ICA just granted me PR status and I'm thinking about purchasing a flat in Singapore, but I'm considering whether to purchase HDB or private condo.

What benefit for a PR to buy HDB? Is the same applied on private condo?

Any input would be appreciated.

HDB is Cheaper
