Let's have a forum topic here solely for SIA Male Steward.
Anyone ever come across a short SIA male steward before?
Is there other requirement besides the cut-off minimum height of 1.65m.
Can an experience Male Air Steward shares his views.
P.s Is it true that the measuring scale provided is usually 2cm shorter.
For example, a 1.65m male/female - the actual measurement (provided by the SIA) would be 1.63m.
Appreciate it, if anyone who have gone through the height measurement during March interview held at Sheraton to share...
Thank you.

From your post it would seem you know only too well you are not tall enough which is unfortunate but you will just have to live with it. Being an air steward isn't the only job in the world and many of us myself included would sooner have had other jobs we couldn't get for various reasons as they say 'put it down to fate'.

Hi Plavt,
For your information, I'm a female - proudly standing at 1.67m.
I'm only here enquiring for a male friend. Thanks for your post.

The minimum we all know is 1.65m and a good buffer of 2cm is preferably needed. I was shorter during the height check too and I haven't really see any 1.65m guys in STC yet, least to mention 1.63m.
