Converting to Singapore driving license

Post by zratter » Thu, 05 Apr 2007 6:59 pm

Guys,

I have a question, I just moved to Singapore and would like to convert my US-issued driving license to Singapore driving license. Where should I go to do that? What should I bring? Anybody has a website with some info? Thanks!

Go down to any driving center. Bring your passport and employment permit. Sign up for the basic theory written test. You get scheduled... actually you schedule yourself on a website after getting a login ID. Go down to take the test with your passport, passport size photo, employment card, driver's license, and if it does not show the date you got your license, then a certified copy of your driving record with the information. Take test and pass. Walk over to police window with test results and above docs. Get temporary license... new one delivered in a week or so. Must be done within 12 months of the entry date on your employment pass.
