computer-tech.-short camps f. youth in SG

Post by andis » Wed, 04 Apr 2007 11:29 am

Besides a few days that we will be gone from SG over the summer break, we are staying in SG. We will spend much time at pools, but I am also looking for some short camps for my 7, 10 and 13 y old. The 7 yr. old, of course, is easiest to please, and the older 2 will enjoy a week away at Camp Castaway (or is that maybe me enjoying a week of serenity...). Other than that I have not found many things that especially my 13 y old would enjoy.

I have checked into the CIS' summer program and the SAS'. I have a hard time finding things that are either shorter than half day or don't have too many topics that one has to do all if only intetrested, e.g., in sports or only computers, but not art. And the one at the CIS that he would like, well, that's the other of the two weeks we're gone... bummer

I was wondering whether anyone knows of any computer, technology, robotics, science short camps/courses for 10 and older, places that offer interesting short camps. Maybe also golf courses... wouldn't mind hearing of anything else interesting, too

I had seen that the Singapore Science Center had a Robotics Learning Center, but that appears defunct or something.

Thx a million

exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

I am now waiting for a response from them, in the hope it is not restricted to school groups or what not.
