erm.. i am not sure..my cousin is SIA girl and shes been flying here and there i hardly even see her..not even during chinese new year so no chance to ask her about her job as a FA wif SIA..

oh jetstar's bond don't seem as scary as tiger..at least its 5k rather than 8k and not upfront. and after one year can break it..tiger must b 3 years.. so yea i tink Flyer should go for it dun waste the opportunity..take it as an experience. Yay!! so happy for u!! flyer!!..as though i am the one getting the job but i am excited to hear you got throughduno y.. but now i am addicted to this forum everyday look forward to come here..and the more i post here the more I am interested in FA job makes me excited also.. duno why..maybe its the excitement & passion u guys have for the job..i also get infected by it

The basic pay that they offer is so low, only $750. Although I went through the rounds, I really have to consider.

den y apply for it since u already noe e pay is low...? coz its like wastin e vacancy. those who realli wish to get in & dun mind abt e pay cant get e job. haiz...

I know the pay is low, but never expect to be that low. $600 after CPF deduction (during the training month), if the hours don't hit 100 hours, there will be just basic pay. How to live with this salary especially in Singapore?

I understand your situation. I read the previous threads, and nobody seen to know much about Jetstar Asia. That's why I'm there for interview.

I'm like you, I want to be cabin crew so much. If you read my previous threads, you'll know that I was booted out at the initital rounds. I felt so demoralised at one time. I would say beside pursuing my ambition, I have to be reality as well.

yup Flyer. if u realli got e chance to sign e bond, juz sign it coz anyway its only 3 yrs & after a yr u can break it w/o payin $.
yaya.. Tiger not only 8K yo. u need to pay another 12K (for e course) & 3K (for Tiger) ya. 3 yrs somemore. Jetstar only a yr & its only 5K. btw, e 5K will reduce if u work more den 6mth but less than a yr. i duno how to explain. so meanin if after 6mths, u wana break contract, u oso no ned to pay 5K tat much. it will be less than 5K.

congrats to those who went thru! i didnt go for the itv as i was worried about the pay, thus i decided to forgo it & yup, give others who really do not mind the pay a chance. If you are still thinking so hard as to whether to take up the job or not after the rounds, then i would say that you should seriously decide now to go for it or not, you wouldnt want to work for 3 years unhappily, you know. its a horrible feeling & you will start to get negative etc...

i sent resume to CX coz its sin-hk or sin-columbo...sqis diff...international flights, standard should be extreme high...hehe..somemore the moment i go to the hotel & see so many prettry girls, my morale would have gone down by half! lol! i am 29 this year, its hard for me to tell myself i should go for the sq itv to compete with the young girls..hard to explain this phobia in words!

i am 29 also means i should not dream about it?? but i don't look old at all..so many of my friends thought i look like 23 at the most..even people i don't know some thought i am 22 or 23 maybe its genetic but i duno.. but my cousin when she applied few yrs ago i think shes about 28-29 also she looked matured though..oh i read the old post someone said they also prefer someone whos not too young and more mature yea..so it speak for itself i guess.. and maybe she got in to SIA coz she has got really strong customer service background!

hmm~ for my mornin slot, there's 21 ppl. i think there abt 7 guys 14 gals? cant rem. 1st round its self intro. after tat we r divided into 3 grps 7 ppl each. we need to advertise for Jetstar. tat's all.
after 1st round, we need to wait for our result in e holdin room. those who r selected can proceed to e 2nd round.
