3 months pregnant and have no clue

Post by lotsofchocs » Tue, 03 Apr 2007 12:01 pm

Hi all,

I am going to be a first time mum in September / October and I am looking for people who are in a similar situation as me.

I am the only pregnant one among all my friends and since the beginning of my pregnancy, I can't do most things we used to do together and i started to feel like an outsider.

I am currently looking into making a new set of friends who are pregnant and are interested in meeting up, share ideas and do stuff together with. I am thinking of joining classes, do baby shopping and compare ideas with, etc. Joining in our spouses is another idea!

Hope to hear from the ones who are interested :)

Cheers.

Alternatively you can go to Ante-Natal classes at KK to find people who are in the same situation as you! Or go to common young mom's hangouts at Great World, Novena and not forgetting the usual East Coast and Siglaps.

=)

Oh ya, you can register for ante-natal classes at kk PEC (patient education centre) its just besides macdonalds. Be sure to book early, places are rather limited.

Hi,

You can go to Birth & Beyond at Tanglin Shopping Centre (next to Orchard Parade Hotel) #05-18. They offer prenatal yoga & exercise classes & also childbirth, breastfeeding & baby care classes. From there, you are able to meet many mothers. MOst of them just moved to Singapore & pregnant.

You can ring them at 67361636 / 7.
