Even if i managed to get into final round, but the objection from my fiance will make me think twice too leh... sigh..
Hmm... no CX, but still got SQ for u! U'll get to fly to more destinations and stay overseas!

Hope u'll get to the management interview round...

Ahh. Sorry la. Either the forum is lagging so badly that I keep getting logged out after one click or sth is wrong with my internet connection. Though I think it's the first. So never really got the chance to read much of the previous posts.
Ahh. Okayy. I see. I hope I make it pass WC too! Thanks anyway.

Well, not too sure bout the criteria / attributes they are looking for. In my group 5 of us got in, out of which 3 were ex crew and one current crew with SQ.
Perhaps they are giving more priority to those with flying experience. But the lady who interviewed us did mention that they may contact those who were not given any slots for the final interview within the next 2 weeks, after more consideration that is. So fret not! You might just get a call
Good luck to those who got through to the final round
Congrats, gurl! Btw, what was the group discussion about?

I agree that they prefer people with flying experiences.
In my group of 9, 6 of them are either current or ex-crew.
But only 3 are selected in my group.
Age is really not a problem and if successful, 6 week training in HKG.
Even as a SIN-based crew, you get chances of promotion.
I hope they will call me up for a 2nd interview within 2 weeks time!

Congrats to those who got in.

well, seems that they only like ex/current CCs.
So, in the group interview, you'll only be required to give a self intro or the question varies?

Hi all, the lady LuvParis mentioned is 33 year old, flew with JAL ten years AGO for a few years.
And maybe it's right they give preference to those with flying experience but for those without, please go try and keep up the optimism. Keep smiling. And speak up during the group discussion, don't get carried away and don't speak too casually. They keep saying, just be yourself and i totally agree, with extra dosage of politeness.
After the discussion the interviewer will ask you all to continue knowing each other among yourself, give her five minutes to sort out her paper work (meaning to assess us) and she'd give us each all a yellow card. One kind is to invite you back with details of what to bring. Another kind is.. I guess thank you for joining and we might call you back in two weeks time bla bla.
Don't worry okay, the interviewer make things VERY comfortable and relaxing, i mean you get to sit down and do your self-intro, how cool =)
Great luck to all going tmr!

And yes, the group discussion question varies. And it's easy cox if you are not the first one to speak, just go "i agree with so and so." LOL. then on the spot improvise it or state more advantages/ disadvantages of that point someone else mentioned before you. Haha.. But fret not, guess it won't be difficult, really. They are not there to make everyone sweat, just to see who can smile whiel sweating. Lol.

Experience counts for a lot in a great many, if not most jobs unless the company has some particular reason for recruiting newbies.

Thanks Hero83. I wish you all the best for tomorrow! Well, our discussion was about how we could possibly attract more tourists to vacation in HK. So we all had to discuss for 10 mins, and that's when everyone will give their suggestions out of which we have to pick the top 3 and present it to the interviewer. But no voting was allowed. We had to talk it out.
All the best to the forumers who are going tomorrow!!! Will keep my fingers crossed for you guys! Made some new friends today which was really nice:)
JL, it was nice meeting you too gorgeous

Z, thanks, i wish we had met though, such a pity:(
