What I know is that now, very little people actually opt for salon-kind eyelash extensions because they're costly and its not permanent. For the same results, you can actually purchase affordable fake eyelashes (as cheap as S$2.50 a pair) that comes in different varieties (long, short, natural, extravagant...) and stick them on yourself.

eyelash extensions are expensive and need to be replaced every six or so weeks

eyelash transplants grow at the speed of scalp hair so you need to trim them regularly

bad experience on eyelash extension

Post by lemoncupcake » Tue, 10 Jul 2007 8:11 pm

I've had my eyelash extensions done before and it looked really wonderful but recently I tried a 'cheaper' promotion at Favenails and it was a disaster. The beautician dropped some glue on my eyelid and by the time she had scraped it off, my eyelid was swollen and very sore. The next day my eye looked like there was an insect bite on the lid! Eyelash extensions look great but pls get a personal recommendation on the actual person doing the extensions!

i liked it the after effect, but i dreaded the time needed to get the lashes glued on. because, you have to lie down and you can't open your eyes for i think 45min! i was bored to death! :???:

get it down at a reputable place.

one MUA told me that she actually had to remove for a lot of brides because it was badly done. waste money, time and end up you might damage your eyelashes.

note, it takes far much more time to grow back eye lashes
