Ah, I was wondering about rock gigs too.

I have seen on the Internet there's a few local bands; any worth watching?

Where do these bands play? And where can I find an agenda or such of concerts in Singapore?

You're kidding right...

Crikey was I the only one here who watched Muse play live at Fort Canning - you know the band that won Best Live Act at the MTV music awards 2007. Oh and the first band to SELL OUT the new Wembley stadium six months later for the two days they were booked. That's 90,000 people, each night people....

My two boys were quite happy to go with their mum and being their first concert, it will be one they will remember for the rest of their lives (we don't count the rubbish Oasis gig at the Indoor Stadium!).

I have to agree though - not enough decent stuff coming here. I get online and look at what's going on in Aus and Japan and then write to Lushington Enterprises or Sistic here. We need to try and get Kings of Leon over who are playing in Australia soon I believe. Gonna miss the Kaisers too  - going away for Easter.

Will hopefully catch the Reading Festival in the Summer though...

I watched Muse too. But that was long time ago... it was a night to remember! I was quite surprised to see that only 6,000 ppl turned up for the gig.

Anyways, on 23rd March, Coldplay's coming to perform in Singapore Indoor Stadium! Tix prices $88, $158, $188, $248.

I'm sure loads of people are going for this! Tix starts selling on this Monday, 9am. I am so broke; I think I'll just go for the $88 one.. but thinking about it, what's the point of going when I am going to be so farrrr back. :( I have about 3 days to think if I should go or not.

well if you want to catch local bands, there are pretty good bands at pubs like timbre and wala wala. occasionally you see good local bands play at the waterfront just outside esplanade too.

i guess the people here aren't that much into rock music... haha i'm still waiting for the day red hot chili peppers drop by singapore!
