Selling services is the least captial intensive way to start a business... just check out the ladies at Four Floors. High heel shoes... pink lipstick... tight dress...minimum investment in a service oriented business.

You need to differentiate between startup up expense and start up capital expenditure. Buying a PC, biz cards, a mailing list, etc are all expenses. Building out a restaurant, a manufacturing plant, or a retail establishment is a capital expenditure.

You will always have start up expense... as noted by my example above.

Any one know where I can get corporate mailing list especially the IT manager or Operation Manager? I am running a small software biz looking to increase my sales. My biz more relating to inventory and mobile apps
