Finding Condos with Doggies

Post by christleene » Wed, 28 Mar 2007 6:28 pm

Hi guys!

Me and my fiance are planning to move to singapore late this year, and we are really assessing our situation just to make sure that we have a smooth sail :) And one our concerns, is finding a place that could accomodate our 3 dogs ( 2 shihtzu, 1 maltese). Is it difficult to find a place that allows dogs? :)

Any pointers? :)

Thanks in advance :) I appreciate it :D

a lot of condo's allow dogs.........just check with the agent you choose as to what condo in what area.

Must admit though, three dogs might be one too many for the landlord to consider with regards an apartment.

We have two and was not a problem.

Where are you calling in from?

We had ours shipped over early March and they are fine and settling in well. ;-)

Hi! Which country are you coming from? Only a few countries are exempted from quarantine from Singapore. Most condos in Singapore allowed owner to keep pets, so there should be no worries.

Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom [Great Britain and Northern Ireland] and Republic of Ireland allow dogs to enter without quarantine delays.

Though all have to have an entry permit. The import permit is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and the fee is S$50 per permit.

Our two Tenterfield Terriers flew from Melbourne to Singapore via JETPETS (Melb) and K9KENNELS (Singapore) and we were VERY happy with the service both provided.
