Sometimes they can eliminate quite alot in water confidence.
Haha..
BUt in my try, it was 2 gurls out of 40.
U'll be asked to weigh urself before u dip intot he pool too.
And man, the height measuring apparatus deprived most gurls of 1-2cm. LOL.
They also check ur body shape after u get out of the pool.

Personally, I feel that the ht apparatus (?) is not accurate

made me shorter by 2 cm.
But the weighing machine made me a bit heavier too.
so the net effect is that my BMI became higher than it actually is.
lingZZ86: my BMI was (and still is) 16+. there were many slim girls who got through.

i think i'm about 1.59/ 1.58. if the height- measuring apparatus actually 'reduces' my height by 2 cm...
don't think i'll make it. ack.

Fizus, just go for it first. it doesnt "reduce" everybody. might just make it. never try, never know right?

iammyy, I cant seem to gain weight too. nothing works. I think I'm quite unhealthy.
heels? for swimming?
heels for walk-in interview and management, yes of course.

The odd thing is when my height was taken at the Dr's itz 159-160cm but when i went for my 1st SQ interview on 4th March which was also my 1st interview for airline crew, the lady took my application form then asked me to take my height and guess what it showed my height as 157cm...imagine 1cm and she said i am rejected and imagine how it feels and like many of you have said some of my friends have also said their measuring scales arent accurate... *sighz* i was super disappointed they rejected me within 10mins coz of my 1cm height indifference. when i travel by air i load/unload by myself my own cabin luggage up into/out of the compartment. but when people see me they dont believe i am 157 they say itz 160 or more... any other tips?
But juz a personal opinion, i find this industry to be very superficial itz macham like "America's Next Top Model" with Tyra Banks...
I thought of giving up after SQ, Qatar & especially today after Emirates rejected me today but after reading your posts i am half-convinced to change my thinking and to keep on trying till i get it.

Don't worry ok?
SIA loves everybody of every race.
My complexion is ok la. I've no oil at all so it may be a lil dry?
I get pimples once in bout 6 months. That may be heaven to afew gurls but i have eyebags and some fine lines which is a worst nightmare than pimples, in my opinion.

Is there a cut off age for guys?

Yes, there is!

There is a cut-off for both males and females.
