hey guys can i just check with you, when will they check for your certificates and stuff? cuz i'm thinking of photocopying my testimonials etc but if they're not gonna bother checking then i was thinking it won't be necessary.
intrinsic; threading is more painful than plucking??? then i don't want to do already!!! i got very low pain tolerance and virgin brows i think will be more painful. ouuuuch.
am thinking of wearing a dress instead of pants and top. but at least with pants your tiptoeing won't be as visible! haha.
and sheep; i'm 1.59m.
just nice, but scared the machine measure me wrongly and minus my 2 cm! haha.

Hello dear fizus! how's your stretching going? 159cm should be okay. dont worry just go for it!
regarding the certs, they will check after you pass through your first round. but they wont be taking your photocopies. And yes, they dont look at your testimonials. only your IC, birth cert and edu certs.
they will check your certs again after management and they will keep your photocopies then.
threading is just a bit more painful but overall I dont find it that bad... you can buy a chilled drink and apply to your eyebrows after threading to soothe the pain. there's one threading place at Clementi central, by an Indian lady. maybe you can drop by after school =)

don't worry fizus! when i did my brows for the first time, it didn't hurt at all. but then my friend cried while she did it! lol! and we were done by the same person! but don't worry so much.. i recommend hollywood secrets at paragon. intrinsic thinks they are good too! but my friend also said that browhaus at the cathay is not bad, like they let you choose what kinda brow you want.

Hey! :)
Hey Instrinsic Dreamer,
i'm new to this forum but have been actively reading up the threads on SIA cabin crew. I must say i find you a sincerely nice and helpful lady, you do embody the qualities of a Spore girl and i'm real glad you got in. Congrats!
I'm inspired by you as i'm also 18 and have just completed my A-levels. The first time i tried for SIA was in Nov 06, 2 days before my econs paper! many people thought i was gila lol. I'm planning to try again this Sat but i'm afraid i'll get rejected again. Your success story gives me hope but you're so much more talented and prettier i am... hai..
i've got many flaws, one of them is my really broad shoulders. Could you advise me if it'll make me look disproportionate in a kebaya? The second is that i don't have really good skin, quite alot of scars on my back. What can i do?
