hey guys, i'm going 21st too! pretty early too i guess, but i'll be armed with a book if the wait gets too long. :D

M; why would you be there? you're already training right?

banz; well... i graduate in december. haha. and i'm going for april thanks to the girls in these forum. you can just declare your availability as september. you should not be discriminated against just because of your late notice; granted you are everything they want, of course. so just go! we could be the two latelatelate availabilities girls. haha.

i still haven't found the top i want! anyone else went interview- clothes shopping? i did, and ended up with 3 non- interview- worthy tops. :P

first things first, welcome back! :) i'm sure the people here missed you and your insightful postings. sorry to hear about your missed call... haha. life is just funny like that. everything so smooth sailing and suddenly you miss the call cuz you're at a noisy place. let us know how monday goes ya? you'll know batch and training dates right? so exciting, a success story right here in this forum. :D

anyway i go everywhere armed with a book so it shouldn't be a problem. not a lot of my friends know i am trying this out, they'll think i'm crazy cuz i'm known to be rather tomboyish. haha. besides, i think emalf posted that there'll be chairs in the waiting area?

i guess what you mean is to submit my application form, register etc must queue, but once in there's designated seating area. am i right?

i'm still undecided over what time to go. i think being early at an interview reflects well on you and your keen interest for the job BUT being there by 8 seems abit... some also advised to go earlier cuz the interviewers would still be feeling 'fresh'. hmm. still mulling over it...

its already saturday! well sort of, its 2.12 a.m. now. 13 more days to interviews, 1 more weekend (to shop!), and many weekdays more to mug for my exams! haha.

i'm getting a wee bit overexcited. haha.

well, think going there early does have its pros. First the interviewers are fresh. Secondly, u need not wait very long as u will be in the 1st few groups..Thirdly, pardon me, if u din make it thru the group interview, u can queue again if there is still plently of time....However, if u are at the last few grps, maybe yr chances will be higher if this round of recruitement has fewer selection and they might be more lenient with the last few groups?? :)

Anyone ever come across a short SIA male steward before?
Is there other requirement besides the cut-off minimum height of 1.65m.
Can an experience Male Air Steward shares his views.

P.s Is it true that the measuring scale provided is usually 2cm shorter.
For example, a 1.65m male/female - the actual measurement (provided by the SIA) would be 1.63m.

Appreciate it, if anyone that went through the height measurement during March interview held at Sheraton to share...

If you manage to pass all rounds and get selected eventually, SIA will wait for you till your graduation. :)
