xiangzhou is right.. you just have to be accountable for yourself, follow your heart, and as long as you feel that it is right and happy about it, it doesn't matter what people around you may think.. you're living for yourself, not under their scrutiny :)

xiangzhou, i'm sure your girlfriend will do alright! and i really admire you for being so supportive! i have a friend whose boyfriend of three years refused to speak to her just because she wanted to try for SIA..

Chai ching, don't be worried!! I'm stuck in the same situation as you.

I'm also a N' level & private diploma holder, nevertheless this don't hold me back for trying this upcoming SIA walk-in... (I'm so excited, this is my 1st time)

I don't pin much hope to it as i do know where i stand. However if lady luck is by my side that day, it'd be great. I may turn to be 1 of the exception in SIA. Haha!

Believe in yourself, have more confidence!! Seriously, you'll never know the outcome till u try it.. Gd Luck. :)

chai ching wrote:I see. So how long have you quit Qatar? Of all so many airlines, you prefer SIA? SIA is also a good airline too. Not bad to join in if you are really keen about that. You are right about that also. We have to think of our family first. I believe that you will surely get it in this airline.

 nope.... im sorry. how i really wish just like all those who wanna go for the upcoming interview. Cant meet their qualifications.

Deshi wrote:Hie chai ching.... well yeah im currently not flying...well i sure do wanna try for singapore airlines is because...1st of all its a home based career...and i still get to come back home to my family after my flights (if i get selected) hahaha..and there are many other more flaws though...being based overseas for a long period of time...anyways are you also goin for the interview thats coming up...
Hey gal dont be disheartened ..i also having n levels and a private dip from tmis..u can always try i even tried for sq before i got into qatar airways and i went right up to the tea session..with my qualification and at that time w/o any experience in flying at all...so why not give it a try

i read somewhere that private diplomas are excepted IF you have 3 O' level credits to back it up. Or you'll be asked to leave if you don't meet their requirements. Sorry to say, but it's the truth.
