I, not too long ago, managed to successfully subscribe to Musicmatch Jukebox, which is a US based mp3 site. I think it's a branch of yahoo music.

I did have to change my city and postcode in the online application form to a californian one, but it passed the online check without any problem for my amex card.

Doing the same with itunes wont work, as they match card number to billing address.

I'm not sure about chinese music though. I've heard of , third-hand, people subscribing to yahoo music taiwan and downloading from there. Not sure if it's possible, though.

Personally, I have a preference for music videos which are free to view from Yahoo Music - US site, and Australian site. These streaming video's are easy to save to hard disk using a shareware software called WMR PRO (if set up correctly). As the cyber authorities can't differentiate between a streaming video & streams that save to HD, I feel it's safe to collect my favourite music this way.
