ENGINEERING --Working as LAE for SQ? Is it worth it???

Post by jowaichan » Thu, 22 Mar 2007 3:42 am

Hi

I am an LAE from the UK, I work for a major airline and was wondering about working in SIN.

I have a JAR 66 B1 and B2 license and have cover on 3 aircraft types with 3years experience on line and casualty work.

I have a few questions

1) what is the working culture like?
2) what sort of salary/package should I expect?
3) is it worth contracting thru an agency or apply straight to the airlines?
4) is there any bond involved?
5) is other type training offered?

If anybody could help me on any of the above questions it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Jo

The link above is a more suitable place to start than a free forum, hope you find what you are looking for.
