Seems like there is a bit of confusion here.. look like the OP is referring to the new mall the has opened called 'Central' and not the Central Mall where a lot of clubs are...

ooo.. she's refering to the one opposite clark quay.... with MRT exit.

I happen to be there, not that big crowd during the evening(might be due to just opened) but I believe afternoon crowd will be very attractive... hmm good location! :D

I had lunch at Pepper Lunch twice located at the basement.

The only crowd is at 4th level, My Dining Room (Kopitiam) during lunch hour.

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live the questions now... Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live... into the answer ~Rainer Maria Rilke~

maybe because its still consider a very young mall. that's why. there might be risk involved like.. if You take a long time to decide & await for good crowds, You might ended up paying more for rental & might ended up off-balance. But i felt that first level is always the best as You have the glass-wall to promote & more attention seeking
