p o box

Post by ffsgrelier » Mon, 19 Mar 2007 7:00 pm

good morning

Due to move to sunny Singapore in 10 days now and wondering how to redirect our mail from the uk as we shall be in serviced accomodation for a month and then move to permanent residence.
been told it may be easier to organise a p.o box but don't know how to go about it from the uk.
Would anyone be able to advise me please.
Many thanks
Frederique

Not sure how you rent from the UK but PO boxes are available - nearest one to Orchard is at the PO at Ngee Ann City very close to Orchard MRT. More details here http://www.singpost.com/singpost_02_01_02PObox.htm
You could email them or is there someone here who could set it up for you? It might not be easy from a distance as most things like that here require you to show ID. Easier and what we did was redirect to your or your partner's office address. You should also register with the Mailing Preference service in the UK to cut down on the unsolicited junk mail which will follow you here otherwise.
