Meyer Road - Nanak Mansions??

apologies in advance if this has been asked already...

relocating to singapore shortly, have found a place on meyer road, in nanak mansions, 1300 sq ft, 1-bed, $2k/month....

does anyone have recommendations on this? is it reasonable?

i am not sure about nanak mansions but i live at the makena opposite nanak mansions on meyer road

in terms of the area it is lovely - quiet but close to most things

there is a executive bus service that runs via suntec city into the cbd if you are working in or around that area

also a shuttle bus that runs to parkway parade shopping centre

and a taxi rank right outside the makena on meyer road

the apartments seem ok from the outside -
