Hi all,
I've read through the 6 pages but nobody mentioned who were the interviewers this time... Perhaps someone who went can share how many and the names of the recruiters? 'Cos I went for QR's recruitment twice last year, and each time it was different recruiters and different types of ppl selected...
Thanks in advance!

chaiching: PM-ed u
lindy: since its different people on the 2 occasions, i surmise qatar will always send different interviewers down? it was bibi (or vivi?), a sri lankan lady (soothie or stg, duno how to spell) and another indian lady who came only on the 2nd and final interview.
but it doesnt matter who comes down to conduct the interview, does it?

Oh i'm quite sure it surely does matter who are the recruiters. Qatarbabe has also mentioned that there's no standard list of criteria of their cabin crew. Anyway, the first time i went it was Bibi and a guy (forgot his name, he's the cc trainer/manager) and i got through 2 rounds, the 2nd time it was a team of 5 recruiters and i was one of those who got the pink stickers and said bye-bye to after submitting the form and watching the video. Both times, the ppl who were selected looked very very different. The 1st time the other girls around me were the sweeter looking, "innocent" type, with their hair down, the 2nd time it was the taller, quite intimidating kind of ladies (in my opinion) with very professionally done make-up and hairbuns.
just my 2 pennies.

Hey ladies,
I went for the Qatar Airways Open day with my gf.
550 people attended the walk-in but only 35(inclusive of 3 guys) were called up for the 1st round of interview on Monday and only 15 were selected (inclusive of 3 guys). My gf who is shorter than me got into the 1st round of interview.
My gf got into 2nd round of interview but she didnt go coz she could not take the criticisms abt her height, they said she was 156cm but when she took her height at the Dr's it was 159cm (she felt she was a wild card) and how the interviewers were telling they couldnt have "heavy loaders" onboard meaning fat girls and they very indirectly looking at a girl when they said this.
After the 2nd round of interview only 3 or 5 ladies were selected.Among those who were shortlisted were Cabin Crews from SilkAir etc but were not chosen. Most of those who were shortlisted were all degree holders.
The 30 shortlisted applicants were being assessed the minute they stepped into the hotel lobby coz there was 3rd interviewer "a mystery lady" who was not around on open day.On Open day, sunday there were only 2 ladies: 1 Sri Lankan lady called Sumuthy and 1 Singaporean lady Phoebe.
1st interview there weight/height taking, English Proficiency test then 1st elimination then group discussion followed by 2nd elimination. Then itz the 2nd interview the following day.

I got confused reading what geets wrote - so how many people in all made it to the final interview?
20? That was what I thought when I did a quick headcount before.
Does anyone know what's the usual number of girls who get the job offer per round of Qatar recruitment?
