Any MacBook users?

Post by fefe » Tue, 13 Mar 2007 11:39 pm

Recently got a MacBook, after tired out with anti-virus software with Windows. Must say I like the user-friendliness, and it's sleek, cool design. However, need some help with the new functions as it is totally brand new to me, any of you new to Mac computers too? Do drop me a pm and see how we can support each other. Appreciate that!

If I'm not mistaken the Apple shop at Wheelock has a free class to learn about Apple product. Don't know about the schedule. I'm sure the class will be good for someone who just converted...

Good luck!

What kinda functions? Not worth splurging on a class for, as all the tips you need are already in the documentation. I've been using OSX for about a month now, and have it setup pretty much to my needs. Lovely stuff...

Thank you to those who have replied and pm.

Really basic functions such as enlarging the safari to fill up the entire sreen... which button to click? It's so bizzarre when one has been a Window user all his/her life and now has to deal with all brand new functions.

I have also downloaded the MSN but it will not run the set-up program. Thank goodness the Wheelock place runs free training to new users every week. I am gonna swamp them with questions.... hehehe

Just use the right hand corner at the bottom of Safari to enlarge it. As for MSN messenger (I assume that's what you mean?), make sure you get the Mac version.
