Very few modeling agencies are to be trusted either!

Most are a rip off to just try to saddle someone with a photo-spread that is overpriced and not very good either. Course, if you mother spend your whole childhood flattering you, then there is nothing we can say here that will disuade you from spending your money. If you grew up believing your parents then you will probably be just another sucker who lost their money in the modeling portfolio scam.

That will depend. You may check their company name with ROC if u wanna to

Checking their name with ROC won't do anything at all except show you that is it a registered company. It won't tell you anything about their business ethics.
