Help in looking for a job

Hello, I have been in Singapore since December on a dependants pass. I am looking for a job in any field/industry. I have a Manufacturing Engineering degree, but am willing to work in any field. I have been in touch with recruitment consultants/agencies, applied fore job through jodsdb, st701 etc, and attended several walk in interviews, but seem to be coming up against a brick wall. can any one help or advise me what else I can do to get any job here in Singapore.
