Are clothes dryers common thing in Singapore?? THX

Yes. But most do not have them as clothes are usually hung out on Galah poles and dry in no time. Good to have in the rainy season like now though. I have a dryer and we use a combination of both. The normal dryer is asian sized and not US sized (normal dryers here are 5 to 7.5 Kg loads. You can get western sized dryers here if you want to pay for them. Good in landed properties where you have the room for them.
