Uniform Fitting and Swim Test

Post by Lynv » Mon, 12 Mar 2007 3:31 am

Dear ladies,
Would anyone please share more details about the uniform fitting?

I was told that after the swim test will proceed to wash up and uniform fitting.
Is the skin check really thorough? When is the skin check performed? During the swim test or uniform fitting?
Does anyone wear make up during the swim test?
Is footwear provided for the uniform fitting as well?

I am really worried about skin check cos my skin been too much exposed under the sun and I have a fresh cut on my thigh; cut myself while packing my files. I am really worried about it :(

Please share your experiences and all the best to those going for interviews! Smile, smile and smile!

TIA!

if silkair's beautician is the same as sia's you dont have to worry much abt the skin check. the fresh cut should be okay. I believe what they are looking for are deep scars or raised keloid scars that cant be concealed.

Thank you emalf for your reply!
I have pigmentation on my arms as well, so if they are mainly looking for scars, I will feel much better.
Yesterday night was thinking about the skin check before falling asleep.
Really wanted to fly very much especially with Silkair.

I heard alot of gals got eliminated at this round.
Does anyone know what's the airline looking for other than water confidence, good skin and posture?

Please share your views! TIA!
