Not really - Some airlines aren't really that selective. As long as you have the basic requirements, they'll take you in....provided you sign the bond and pay them $5k if you run.

The investment to organise the open day, flying over recruitment teams, having a local agent, etc in contrast to a quick cattle call says it all....

Good luck for Etihad.

Wow I didn't know they took so little people. My girlfriend was one of those selected. Now she's over there starting her training. Their welfare is quite well taken care of , I must say.

Does Etihad have a minimum height requirement for cabin crew?

I read in the papers that we only need to reach a height of 214cm on tiptoes. But some people posted in the forum that gals need to be at least 1.62m and for the guys, its 1.75m. Is that true?

I can reach 214cm but my height is not there.

Yeap. So many airlines just states 214cm, 208cm... but during the day itself, they measure us by heights.... :?

Example, qatar. Website states 214cm on tiptoes... but on the day, they announce min height for guys is 168...

i went to Etihad interview on Mar 07. Once you reach, they will give you application form to fill in your height & particular. followed by height taking. take off your shoes & tiptoe to reach 214 cm.
there are few girls being rejected when they can not touch the marking pasted on the wall. they kinda very strict on height.

Hi,

Yup. We can walk in anytime between 1 to 5 pm. Its up to you what time you want to be there. No need for you to be there before 1 pm. Its your preference. You can go down there anytime you like.

From what I have read here and elsewhere; some have a height requirement while others ask you be able to reach a pre-determined length. However, remember if you are below a certain height your arms won't be long enough.
