Shopping for big sizes

Post by FaeLLe » Wed, 28 Feb 2007 9:55 am

Hello everyone,

Been in Singapore for around two months and hailing from Dubai I am enjoying shopping in the big malls like Vivo and places in Orchard Road.

However the last size I find in most shops here (except for River Island, Vivo City) is XL.

There is nothing for us hefty people having sizes like XXL and above.

Any advice pertaining to this matter would be most appreciated.

Regards,

- FaeLLe

Are you female? If you're not, then I'm afraid this previous thread won't help . . .

Sadly I was looking for mens clothing, but I am sure someone here must know.

Hi

I posted the same question a few weeks ago and someone suggested the Factory Outlet Store (FOS), they told me that there's one at Holland Village above the post office. I havent been there yet though.

Also Timberland do XXL shirts and Marks & Spencer do XXL in some of their mens ranges.

Hope this helps but would be glad to hear of any others out there.

umm they do do XXL shirts at Timberland but they are cut to asian sizes, slimmer in the chest and arms so if you are not, they won't work. Husband tried it (he is 6'5" tho) and it was a no go, unless you like that tight shirt look.
