Seeking Distributor/Buyer In Singapore

Post by Kurozu » Tue, 27 Feb 2007 10:55 am

I am a Singaporean who owned a export/import business in Japan. My main focus are Healthy Food and Beverage.

I am looking for a distributor or a buyer who wants to buy Organic and Healthy Japanese products in Singapore. Or maybe a partnership(s) who can help me sell/distribute Japanese goods to retailers/wholesalers in Singapore.

I have secured a line of Japanese goods from Kagoshima, Japan. Kagoshima is famous for their organic vegetables and fruits in Japan, and moreover, most of Kagoshima food products are made by organically grown ingredients.

Right now, I have ShoChu (alcohol), Green Tea, Unagi (Eel), Kurozu (Black Vinegar) and Kurobuta (Black Pork) that I want to export to Singapore from Japan. All these products are made by organic ingredients. JETRO has introduced these goods in Singapore before in the supermarket (not sure which one), and the consumers' responses are very good.

Why should anyone want to distribute a brand name, without marketing support? Are you prepared to support the Singapore market penetration?

If you are a trader, then maybe you are getting distribution support, we have the logistics and client base, to provide this service in Singapore although, it is not cheap to launch products. If you have anything to offer you are welcome to pm me, and i will discuss it, with the board. Are you based in Japan or Singapore.

You must have 5 posts before you can reply.

Well, launching new products in an uncharted market is always difficult and costly. One thing I do have is good products that I am very confident about.

We are based in Japan.

We have neither logistic, distribution, nor client base to begin with in Singapore. If I have to, yes, I am prepare to support the Singapore market penetration since I already have a marketing manager who has years of experience.

But since I am based in Japan, I cannot be in Singapore for the whole marketing operation. Moreover, I would like to have more option and opinion before I jump into any decision.

Only one more post to go, before you can PM me! There are many possiblilities, we would also like to enter Japan, with our product range.

I cannot guarantee anything, all I can do is to notify, the CEO, I can see a potential break, for a win win situation if you are based in Japan. Are you established in the local Japanese market with any sales channel.

There is no rush, and of course, if everything is favourable for both parties, we would arrange a meeting. The company is Singaporean owned.

Why is there a rule of 5 post before we can pm each other?

Can the moderator please erase my email address on my 1 post? I shouldn't have expose my email in the public cause I fear spammers may misuse my email address.

ksl, There are many food and beverage products in japan, but the ones that sell really well are those made from organic products or products that has proven to be nutritious. I have some sales channel here in Japan, and I must say that it will be even more difficult to sell foreign products.

I hope the pm will work now. Pm me whenever you can and we should talk more.

I may be too late to see this post. PM me if you are still looking for distributor/buyer. I do have friends who are the sole distributor for Japanese products( F & B ) for years in S.E.A. じゃ、メールお待てますね。。
