Hello there, is anyone here studying ACCA?
I intend to study ACCA in Singapore and wonder if anyone can recommend a good colleage to go to?
I heard that the quality of ACCA teaching is not as good as London, well...in fact Britain. Anyone with any experience?

Good luck!
I finished all stage 2 in UK and am going to continue the professional stage in Singapore.
Not sure if the accounting standards is any different.
Any idea?
Maybe we can exchange notes for stage 2 papers.

Usually what i take here is the Singapore standards.....which is according to the Singapore Financial Standards.....But if im not wrong they have the INT international Standards but if im not wrong what they teach in school is based on Singapore Standards.
ACCA Syllabus is going to change after the June 2007 exams.
The staff at FTC are very helpful.....it will do you alot of good if you went down to speak with them.
Let me give you a link on FTC.

Hi
Are the tax papers here Singapore variants? If so any idea where I can buy the manuals. I qualified with the ACCA several years ago in the Uk but would like to learn about Singapore tax and studying the Singapore manuals would probably be one of the easiest ways.
Thanks

Guys,
For ACCA affiliates/students moving into Singapore from Europe - For the Annual subscription (which pays for the magazine as well) did you register separately into ACCA Singapore's branch?
What i am trying to figure out is how to pay the annual subscription to Singapore's branch in SGD rather than pay into UK, where i registered when i started the course.
Or is it a case of everyone paying to the UK office irrespective of where you are resident?
