Baby Tantrums

Post by GKalra » Thu, 22 Feb 2007 2:01 pm

Hi,
I have a two year old boy, very confident and energetic. However, he is very loud and can be aggressive. He is very impatient and screams a lot. I find it very hard to control him when he has one of his tantrums, especially in public. My other son 6 now, is and always was very well behaved. Are these tantrums normal, what can i do to improve his behaviour.

Hi there,,dont worry...this the time when they start to throw tantrums. However, be patient ,never hit your child, talk to him nicely... i know its difficult. Worse come to worse ,bring him to a side .,tell him that what he's doing is wrong and just ignore him for a while.

My boy used to lie down on the floor in public and scream.I used the ignore method and it worked. Do read this article.

Stay cool alright.. by the time he is 2 1/2 yrs ,,he will be a bit toned down.
Always have a smile on that face!
