Karishma!
You can drive in Singapore. Provided you buy a car in Singapore. Malaysian registered cars cannot be driven in Singapore on a permanent basis. The cars from Malaysia are usually on visit and they will be logged at entry and exit. Vehicles exceeding the permit of stay will be impounded or deported. I do not know what the limit is. I have had freinds visit and they will procure a IU for ERP etc, with a fee (that used to be 30$ a day but I heard its reduced).

A Malaysian or a Malaysian Singapore PR can still drive a car in Spore provided it is a Singapore registered car.
, but even then cars cost quite a lot in singapore... and parking cost a bomb...
ha ha... you cannot escape from the Pay n Pay gahment. You enjoy to drive in Spore then be prepared to bear all the damages of parking charges, petrol, car price. BTW, COE prices have dropped to a record low... good investment opportunity heheh

b) he does not have a permanent residential address in Singapore and returns to his country of origin on a daily basis
c) the vehicle is kept or used outside Singapore for a total period of 6 hours or more everyday
d) he has a valid insurance certificate for the use of the vehicle on Singapore roads
e) the vehicle has an AutoPass Card to validate its entry/exit at Singapore checkpoints and for payment of Vehicle Entry Permit/Toll charges

This is applicable only for a foreign-registered motorcycle/car, but if you have a Sillypore regd Car/bike you are free to ride/drive in this country and the neighbouring countries.
