Hi,
We're heading back to Europe later this year, and have too much in the way of personal possessions to carry it ourselves, but not enough -- no furniture, etc. -- to justify using a full-service
Mover.
What are the alternives for getting our stuff home?

Simply put your stuff in multiple boxes as send via the post office. This was how i first moved out 12yrs ago.
Four boxes each sent via the post office, and by sea consolidation.

Pack it well and send it the cheapest way, by sea! It will get thrown around quite alot so make sure it's packed well and insured!

Call any reputable freight forwarder (I have used AEL when in HK and Taiwan) – they usually charge per cubic meter. You pack your stuff in manageable boxes – they consolidate into wooden packing crate and ship via sea. Will take weeks to get to destination, but probably cheapest way. A sq mtr will take a fare amount - make sure you use plastic bags to keep moisture out.
