So they'll prob ask us to come back another day for the final interview?

Arg. Wish they had it all in 1 day.. haha...
From the plane? Avoid looking down if you can't swim but at times I really wonder if a non swimmer is useful in crisis. Nevertheless, look forward and jump.

You will have your final interview if you made it through this round. Every round has casualties so doesn't mean this is a walk through for all. [-o<
juz dun hesitate when u jump and dun struggle in the water, believe it or not, there are really non-swimmer among the crew(i also very shock when i know that first hand), but pls at least learn to relax and be comfortable in water be4 u go for the water confidence, otherwise u will struggle if ur SEP trainer suddenly decide to do a wet SEP exam.

OH NO.

What does wet SEP stand for? :???:

When u jump down, u'll definitely need some tym to resurface right? Roughly how long?

Hmm, when u said don't struggle, u mean we shouldn't flap our arms and kick our legs to help us float to the surface?
We should just relax and let the lifevest bring us up naturally?

*faint*

Oh NO!!! MIne's TMR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *faint*

When you jump, your lifevest allows you to float and resurface in no time.

You can certainly move your arms and kick your legs to help yourself get up. Just dont look like you are in panic (even if you are), that ll seem like you are struggling.

After the jump you can take your time and swim (backstroke) or float to the other end of the pool. THey dont scrutinise your swimming as long as you are confident in water.

Good luck Intrinsic Dreamer... dont stress yourself unnecessarily its easy and quite fun really.

Sigh..

I tried jumping into my pool today. Though my pool isn't deep, I even hesitated!! ARGS.

No matter how hard i try to hold my breath, water still went into my nose.. Sigh..

Are goggles allowed?

I really must pass tmr!!!

Why isn't there anyone here to update on how their round went on Wed? Sigh...

Haha...

Alright, I'll describe.

Firstly, it wasn't as scary as everyone made it out to be. :)
For someone who can't swim(me), this is the round I was dreading the MOST..

The pool isn't dark. It does not resemble the Sea.
They didn't turn on the wave function as well. *phew
The place just looks abit dark because there aren't much windows for sunlight to pass through. It isn't as bright as the public pool.

Nevertheless, it is 4m deep. It gets shallower towards one end to about 1.2m. :)

We had to inflate the lifevest by blowing.
The distance from the mock plane & water is about 1.5m-2m?
There was a man who said "Ready, jump!"

We just had to jump one by one. Normall, girls stay underwater for about 2secs. The vest will bring us up almost immediately.

When we resurface, just wipe off water from our face, blow our nose, whatever..
When u're ready, just float on your back and move however u like to, to get yourself back to the shallow end.

And thats it. We can take our time too.

I was still nervous, nevertheless. :?
But there were other girls around too and they looked alright after their jump so I relaxed a little. :)

When the guy said "JUMP", My body was telling me to hold on awhile more, maybe breathe abit more but heck,
my brain was telling me "jump NOW" and PLOP, i went!! :D
I was NOT THINKING!!!

When I backstroked about 2m, the next girl went down.. I was relaxing, feeling so glad i made it & i let 4 girls overtake me!!

There were other girls infront of me too. It felt good. At least I wasn't alone in the pool.

When we got out of the pool, we had to deflate our lifevests.
Then queue up in a straight line and when a lady standing at some end beckoned to us, we had to walk a distance of about 12m to her individually..

We're weren't asked to lift up our hands and arms. kept them by our sides.
She stood a distance of about 1m from us, then looked at us from neck to toe. Then we're asked to turn around and She'll scrutinise us from the back as well.

She was basically looking at our body shape. Thats it. :)

Change, dry our hair, meet back at some lobby..
We were then all brought to the interview room where our results were announced.

Had a mini briefing & what to expect next...
The dates for Management Interview is from the
26th MARCH-3rd APRIL!!!!

Its still a long way to go!! Arg. :o
I signed up for the Earliest date!! HEh heh.

I'm sooo happy. I REALLLLLLYYY CAn't say how glad I am. :D  :D

Wow, thanks babe, this is by far the most detailed write-up on the water-confidence test round i've read in this forum! Think it will help many other ladies!

All the best for your next 2 rounds, mgt and tea party right?

Keep us updated ladies! :)
