tenshi wrote:Hi ladies

For my first round of interview - self-intro - we were asked a question: What do you think about the image of the Singapore Girl and do you think we should change the uniform? No self-intro, just the above questions. I guess it's not so much the answer, but how confident you are in answering. I guess they want to see how we react should a passenger pose us a question and we have to voice our opinion or give an answer on the spot. 5 of us made it through to kebaya fitting. I was booted out after the skin check.
tenshi, did they mention what abt the skin check did u fall short of? die la i got mole on face got scars on legs, i think i better get my skin well first for the next few mths before i go.. maybe next year..must wait for the scars to fade. :(

Hero83, i think someone mentioned have to remove all accessories? Dun know if it includes watch too.. :)

Yes dear.

REMOVE EVERYTHING. WATCH too.

I couldn't be bothered to wear any jewellery or accessories there so it was easy for me.. Heh. =)

Moles Are ok, though i didn't see any girls there with prominent moles there.

Scars on the leg they do not check during the skin check.
They'll check the leg at the water confidence round, after the dip in the pool.

Most ppl get booted out if they've bad acne, deep deep scars, tremendous amount of freckles blah... The worst of the worst that can't be covered by concealer. :???:

but legs are covered by the uniform anyway, why must they penalise.. hmm. then i have to wait long long for my scars from rashes i got previously to fade. :-|

Good luck to all going for the next round!

Sometimes when u walk in the kebaya, the bottom will open and part of your leg will be seen...

Don't worry. U can always tell them that u'll wear stockings.

They'll only check your leg during the water confidence round. Don't worry. =)

Hello Sweet LAdies

Post by Tarikha » Thu, 08 Mar 2007 2:01 am

Hello sweetz. Erm im tarikha, mixed, and i came across your forum and actually m quite amazed dat alot of you girls are interested bein a cabin crew. I actually got through the interviews and am goining to start training v sn.

My advise. Don't give up. Some are judgemental, but i got thru the second time. They told me off that i dun have proper hips n all. One is higher then the other. But the second time i got through. Sometimes its juz ur luck. Some trainees might look fer different personalities. That does'nt make u nt suitable fer the job. Try again gals. Dun give up ok.
:) cheers
