That is correct and was pointed out by a member of SIA's recruitment staff who spent a little time on the forum, sad to say he found himself being scrutinzed and doubed while trying to help. :(

Hi p3i86, I'm certain that Plavt's remark was not directed at you in any way. Just a little reminiscing on the past as these old guys are so prone to doing (i kid....i kid) So don't worry about it.

As Jencrs himself says; that wasn't directed at you I was referring to some 'events' that went on some time ago. That said good luck with the water confidence test and as you have probably realized by now the keyword is confidence.

I sure hope that I don't stay too long in the water after jumping..

3sces should be the most!! :)
I don't like being underwater.... :?

My aunty said that the pool is REALLLY deep. Do they turn the waves on? :???:

By the way, according to M, the tea party round is not on anymore, anyone has any clue what is going to be the next round after the water confidence test?
The management interview?

Later they decide to bring in something new to replace the tea party. HAHA. :D

From where you're standing on the mock plane to the bottom of the pool, it's a rough estimation of 3m. Not so deep and it's fun jumping off? :king: Waves? You wanna surf the waves? :P

For myself, which is for the guys, we had height and weight measurement before the water confidence and a brief skin check after the dip. We were required to walk towards this management staff from the other end of the pool and thereafter, he will examine our hands and back.

Not sure about the girls though there might be more checks. [-o<

2nd day ends with the water confidence unlike in the past, where we had our pyschomatrix test before the dip but SIA has decided to do away with that. And yes, final interview ends when you have the green light with pending medical checks on the day itself or the following day. NO more tea party!

M, How bout the distance from the mock plane and the water? :D

So they'll prob ask us to come back another day for the final interview?

From the plane? Avoid looking down if you can't swim but at times I really wonder if a non swimmer is useful in crisis. Nevertheless, look forward and jump.

You will have your final interview if you made it through this round. Every round has casualties so doesn't mean this is a walk through for all. [-o<

Hi ladies

For my first round of interview - self-intro - we were asked a question: What do you think about the image of the Singapore Girl and do you think we should change the uniform? No self-intro, just the above questions. I guess it's not so much the answer, but how confident you are in answering. I guess they want to see how we react should a passenger pose us a question and we have to voice our opinion or give an answer on the spot. 5 of us made it through to kebaya fitting. I was booted out after the skin check.

Did they examine your hand very closely? Is it possible to wear watch (to cover the small scar on the wrist) or they will ask you to remove the watch?
