For the swim, if you don't have contacts, go with your original idea.

But if u get selected to be a stewardess, u will be shown to the door if u tell them ure not willing to buy contacts. :o

But to prevent urself feeling left-out and stuff, get contacts first before u turn up for any SIA interview. :)

Lemme tell u, NO girl present at the walk-in wore Specs.

So yeah.

Hi Lindyhoppe!

WAs my post very detailed? HAHA. Thanks.

There's no point in typing a post if no one gets what i mean or still has questions about what i typed right?
It will save other ppl's tym in asking again & again. :D

I was bored also. And i'm very talkative.
So I don't mind & its natural for me to put it all down in words!! :D :D

DiDn't u see my 2 other VERRRY long posts in pg13/14? HAHA.
If u didn't, Don't go! Its SUPEr long. :P

Hope u had more insight on the water confidence round anyway!!

Are u trying out for SQ too? :)

What is the management round all about?

Its just a last & final interview.

This time, its 2-1. Or maybe it has always been 2-1, I dunno. :???:
This is my first tym tryin for SIA.

According to an in-charge, the interviewers just wanna know more about you & they can ask you any questions under the sun.

They also probably wanna see if "U HAVE GOT WHAT IT TAKES"!!!
LOL.

Sorry my question is kinda of out of the topic.
With regards to the wearing contacts for water confidence test, won't the contact lenses drop out when you get into the water?
I thought can't wear contact lenses for swim?

Sorry I am new to contact lenses so not sure what I can really do or rather can't do with it

Close your eyes when you are about to hit the water? Normally even when you open your eyes in the water, your lenses will not be dislodged. No worries.

Hi Lynv,

I wore contact lenses for my water confidence test too!! :)

Basically EVERY girl closed their eyes when they jumped in. :D
No one opened their eyes until their heads are entirely above the water.

Don't worry too much.
Just wipe off the water from ur eyes and face when u resurface will do.

Inevitably, a LITTLE water will get in. But it isn't pain to the point of unbearable.

However, if it hurts ALOT for u, just bring ur contact lens solution and take it out after the swim. Wear ur specs after that :)

If it still isn't such a gd idea, u can wear goggles too.
Couple of girls brought goggles. I did too. :)
But.............. no one wore it cuz No one wore it. HAHA.

Yeah...
Goggles.
Swim gear includes goggles.

Me & my fren even wore goggles around our necks. Intending to put it on before the jump. :D

But man, we both forgot it was around our neck and we put the lifevests over our heads alr. It was hugely inflated. HAHA. No way of taking the goggles out...

So heck. :D

Well for those who are attending the management interview, its really no different from the 1 to 1 interview except that the interviewers are higher in rank and older :p They are really nice people. Just treat it as you did for the 1 to 1 interview and all will be fine. If you are cut out for it, you'll get selected.

Best of luck.
