Although the chance of rain on that day was bigger than forecasted, the chance was still not that big that it did in fact rain, that day.

Tennis in west, south or central?

Post by JulianW » Tue, 24 Apr 2007 1:16 am

Hey guys, I'm glad to have chanced upon this forum thread. I'm NTRP 4.5 (or you can say an out-of-touch 5.0, LOL). Used to play tournaments in Australia & Thailand two years back. Used to coach too, but have since gotten sick of it. Have only been playing once a month or less for the last 5 months ever since tennis burnout. Picking up again now. I live near enough to Harbourfront. WOuldn't mind playing tennis around this area, River Valley, or Great World City. Gimme a buzz if you wanna do some tennis. Preferential to singles or rally practice. 91136469

Anyway, the company I used to do tennis with was Tour Tennis.

They've got a site at www.tourtennis.net. Worth a look.

I am looking for tennis partners near GWC. I live in Valley Park. I am usually free on Thursday nights and weekends. Is this group still going on?

Hi - is there anyone living on Marine Parade Rd (or close by) interested in some tennis action?

Hey Audiojunky,

Where is Marine Parade Rd? I can only understand the location when MRT stations are referenced. I started playing regularly from last week. Preferably weekdays are good for some warm up. I live in Regent Park condo which is close to Clementi MRT. We can arrange a friendly warm up game if you would like. PM me for more info.
With my kind regards

Tennis

Hi Nick (original poster), I am keen to join your group for regular tennis.
Great World City is great for me as I am living on Holland Road.

Let me know if you have any plan for the next session.

I also have a tennis court at where I am staying if any neighbour is keen also.

Cheers,

I bought my racket and some balls recently, planning to start with tennis, just for exercise and fun. I would prefer to have a coach for 5-8 lessons before I can really play. I can book a court in my condo near east coast or go to the coach's court. The problem is I dont see the necessity to pay a high coaching fee. I am wondering if someone could teach me tennis for a low rate (I dont mind to share a session with another learner each time). Please PM me if you think you can do it and let me know how much is your hourly coaching charge. Cheers!

I have replied to the email but have not gotten any reply yet.
