3D models of Singapore in Google earth

Post by bigfilsing » Sun, 11 Feb 2007 10:27 am

There are now some 3d buildings available for google earth

Check out http://www.singeo.com.sg/

Good news is that the software to create models is free
"Sketch up" can also be downloaded at the goggle earth website where they have some great tutorials. So whether you want to build models for google earth or just fancy playing around with 3D models in general its a great place to start.

Enjoy

Not happy with goggle earth and singapore at the present.

Did some projects here but due to their sensitive nature the goggel earth still shows them at ground breaking stage only even though they are completely finished and oeprational.

Even satilite image in Singapore is sensored.

Kinda see where you're coming from but what do you expect from a free service. Some have siad the pro version of google earth ( that you have to subscribe to) has more up to date images.

I think certain areas in most countires will be "off limits" to google earth, certainly in the secuirty minded world we live today. Disappointing but understandable i guess.
