**Romantic Restaurant For Proposal**

Post by commedesgarcons » Fri, 09 Feb 2007 9:40 pm

Good day everyone..

Once again i need help from you guys..

Im preparing to propose to my long running relationship gf (9 years and still counting) on this coming Valentine's

Everything have been settle but the place to pop the Question is still to be comfirm.

Tried Halia, Turquoise Room, Hill Bistro, My Secret Garden and a few that recommended by you guys.. I have to say all are thumbs up recommendation.. Thanks alot to all of you..

Im actually thinking of going to the Graze at Rochester Park. The ambience looks great and the reviews are awesome too.. However 14th Feb was fully booked. :(

So is there any other restaurant that have ambience like those i mentioned above? Preferred in lush surrounding or not too crowded restaurants that are located outside the city area..

Budget is around $80 per person.

Thanks a million in advance..

Do you really want to propose in a jam-packed restaurant where every other couple is pretending to be romantic just 'cos it's Val's Day, and watching you whilst you get down on bended knee?

If you have to make it a 14 Feb proposal, why not do it somewhere like the beach or a park at sunset? On Changi Village boardwalk?

Take a bottle of champagne (and proper glasses), some nice nibbles, and a thick blanket for the ground. ;)

commedesgarcons,

I attended a company dinner with my colleagues in the restaurant of Changi Beach Club last Saturday. It was a nice restaurant--quiet and has great service. Not too jam-packed. There's cool sea breeze coming from the sea. There's also a pathway for lovers. But you'd have to know someone who's a member of that place in order to get a booking. Perhaps someone here in this forum is a member or has a friend who's a member.
