Anyone have advice on good movers from OZ/Mel to Singapore?

Would appreciate it if any other folks from OZ could share their experiences with some good Movers. Someone that did packing, unpacking etc.

Just trying to plan ahead and sort of moving costs etc.

We used Wridgeway's from Melbourne to Singapore. Would not use them again, but each packer / crew member would probably be different anyway. I was not expecting them to pack everything to the standard that I would myself, as I realised (and hoped) the end result would be the same. ie: arrive at the other end safely.

But did expect them to listen to my requests re packing of important paperwork that WAS originally in folders (PHd research papers) only to find them pulling all paperwork out of the original folders "because they would fit into the boxes better".

Plus a piece of rare artwork (metal) that was being packed together with the clothes hangers and without any packing between!

The above is only "some" of the problems we had with them!! My advice would be to shop around and use your gut feeling too ..... perhaps I just struck a bad "packing team".

I hope everything has arrived safe and I will be very happy when it is all unpacked next week...today (Wed) it is going thru customs!
