Any place to recommend? Do they usually photoshop" your pic? I'm clueless.

I remember that time I went for the interviews, my round 2 was 1 to 1 interview.

During 1st Round - Group Interview :
The questions asked was from my resume or rather what was written on the application form and also from self-intro. I was asked about a previous job, my hobby... etc.

During 2nd Round - 1 to 1 Interview :
- Why do you want to be a flight stewardess?
- What are your hobbies?
- Do you like night life?
- Do you go to pubs?

I am out after the 2nd interview. At that time I feel weird of the questions asked, regarding night life..

What I can conclude is, be prepared for the 'usual' airline questions that they will ask and what you can tell about yourself. Questions will come from what you have said. Would be best if you have something interesting to tell or an interesting hobby.

I remember there's a girl who mentioned cooking as her hobby during self-intro and one of an interviewer who is a caucasian was so interested in her hobby and asked her quite a bit of questions. He was so fascinated about what she can cook and she go thru the 1st round. So luck, fate... everything plays a part.

Actually i think they should have the Kebaya round first.

I thought girls should pass that first then go for the more important 1-1 interview... haha..

These are the type of questions to be expected; they are bound to ask you 'why do you want to be a flight stewardess': that tells them how much you have thought about researched the job = whether or not you are really interested.

Hobbies night life and pub going bring in you in contac”  with people: a sure way of examining your relationships and reactions to others and situations in a variety of circumstances.

With some thought those with a genuine interest can draw up a profile of the job and work out for themselves what some of the questions may well be - there is a method.

I dunno about pubbing and stuff because I've never been to one as I've always thought it doesn't project such a good image.

Not necessarily; interviewers are profiling you and how you react to different situations; cabin crew at work or on the ground encounter a huge array of nationalities, languages, cultures and situations. This situation can occur in other environments where it is difficult to think clearly and quickly as you may often have to in the plane. On the other hand some people are very reserved, shy, lonely, enjoy their own company or don't get along well with others. The pub is just one example of an evironment involving others including many strangers.

Unless you happen to be an alcoholic, over- weight (says he writing this ) or simply drink to much pub going is quite normal for many.
I rarely go to a pub unless I am in company; as an example when I used to attend Japanese classes the whole class would go to the pub afterwards. Amongst this group were schoolteachers, carpenters, unemployed persons, student’s businessmen and others. Your post reminds me one girl's father was a criminal lawyer who didn't like his daughter going to the pub. The reason: he thought only bad types went to the pub which is complete and utter nonsense and shows what a sheltered and shallow life some lead despite their education and vocational achievements.
