That is the advantage of being a Moderator (fascist b***** that I am) when you persistently post something which is provocative, unconstructive and grossly off-topic in the bin it goes.

you`ll go into the room in groups of 10s, then there will be 10 kebayas hanging there, gotta grab the one that fits you best. you need not take the top and bottom from the same set, for example grab a A bottom and B top. those kebayas are from ex crew so it was made to fit them. i heard that they are kinda small. make sure it is fitting. loose kebaya will only jeopardise your chances. then you`re to walk towards the panel. take small graceful steps. posture is very important! then after that there will be a skin check in the kebaya. they will ask you to tie up your hair so they will check for any visible scars in the kebaya. lights shining on you and all like in a photography studio.

Icic.
Are there girls that go there and realize that nothing fits them because they are on the plump side? What's gonna happen then?
Oh no...
NOw i'm getting worried. I would consider myself big-sized!!!
Will any girls fight over the same piece?
It would be much better if they can walk one by one then come out of the uniform so the others can fit in it? haha...
So anyway, have to walk one by one out is it? Please don't tell me we've to pose?!? haha!!
I'm really worried that I can't fit in any piece. *sob*

don`t fight over the kebaya, it doesnt reflect good on you!
yup, walk one by one out, small graceful steps. posture is very very important! no need to pose, just be graceful and posture posture posture!!!

Haha...
Why do u have a weight issue? U are not overweight!!!
Sorry, how old are u?
Actually i think that even if one's BMI is in the accepted range, one might not necessary be able to fit in the kebaya too.
My BMI is acceptable but i think i'm too plump to fit in the uniform.. The bottom might not even fit too. OMG!!
I'll be the only one that can't wear anything there!!!
My posture should be ok. In fact, my pilates teacher thinks that my spine doesn't have the normal S curve.
He said it was too straight & i'll have problems doing some exercises. Dunno if its a good thing or not.

reminds me of a lady who didn't manage to fit into any of the kebayas (the top, does it have a specific name?

). she was given a piece of silky, satin-looking fabric that the helpful HR personnel helped her to put on like a tube top after the bra, then she wore the 3/4-sleeved kebaya top outside like a jacket, zipped up to the highest possible. i haven't heard of many ladies who can't squeeze into the tops before... this is the first time. the skirts are usually too long even for ladies who are about 1.65m tall, just fold at the waist and cover with the top. don't panic if the clip above the zip is damaged or whatever, as long as you can zip up and wear the skirt without it dropping when you walk, can already!
the girls won't fight over one piece la! haha. just ask around for a bigger/smaller size that you need if the one you took off the rack doesn't fit, the other applicants are as worried as you and will most probably (from my experience) be happy to exchange with you too. same for the shoes. mostly are size 5 and 6. i wore size 8, only a few pairs available so there was once i waited for a girl to do her walk 1st while i waited bare-foot (doesn't matter) then when she's done she passed the precious size 8 to me
relax, girl...

Those ladies who passed the intro round will be asked to go for kebaya fitting. You don't really fight for the kebaya, just try and get the one that fits you best. Like what xmischax said, choose A top and B bottom. Ladies who may not be able to button up will just wear the kebaya over their existing top. You may want to bring along a tube top or camisole just in case. Ladies who are more well-endowed may have a little problem with the top cos' remember the kebayas are from ex-crew, so if you get one that is slightly smaller at the top, you may have a problem. Just like I did, but with some ingenuity, I squeezed into it. Some ladies had the same problem too. Sometimes if you are lucky, you may have a lady who has just finished her skin check and she may offer her kebaya to you.

Maybe you want to bring along a camisole or a tube top cos' they lady interviewers can just use the table napkin and pin it on for you. I've seen ladies using their own tube top. Just a suggestion.
