What, pray tell, is a "Green Drink"? Aojiru? Bhang lassi?

"It's delicious!" we all blurt out in unison after the first sip and the second puff of crack...

I think is a mixture of Veg blended up in to a drink. Anyone try to make one before? you can check this out ( http://www.energiseforlife.com/green_drinks.php ) but I not think of buying these so I thinking of doing my own blend but can't find much recipes on it.

To increase the benefits of the green drinks, the alkalinity of the water can be improved by using distilled water and by adding Alkalive pH Booster into the water. The Alkalive drops act as a catalyst, which releases oxygen into the bloodstream, effectively increasing the nourishment and cleansing of the blood and cells. They also structure and clusters the water for optimal absorption.

"Clusters the water for optimal absorption"!? That's the second craziest puff piece I've read after the one about magical washing tablets, where the "transistor's mechanical magnetic waves" are used to clean clothing. :o

And heeeere's Quackwatch:

Could it be that quackwatch is also quackery?

Have you never had your tung come into contact with an acidic vagina, Now that is not very pleasant at all  So I disagree with quackwatch, not on everything though.

They are right about the ph in blood, being so narrow band, that the slightest change could kill.

The body changes pH value like the weather and any good doctor will tell a woman with yeast infection, is caused by the imbalance of the vaginal acids. Alkaline V's Acid.

A womans vagina should be slightly acidic, in defence of yeast infection too much acid, is also to bad.

I think quackwatch maybe right that alkaline doesn't cause the disease, although its wrong to suggest that the ph value cannot be changed, in my opinion.

Stomach acid does change in its acidic range within the stomach.

There is a specific range for different areas of the body, and the urine test is basically to see if your in the normal safe range. although its difficult to maintain the right balance the rule of thumb is everything within moderation.

One veggie drink a day, with drinking vinegar added, may even be quite refreshing.
I've tried the lemon in my lager and it's just like ordering a tops, just to take the sharp edge off, the lager. Carrot juice is excellent although women need to be careful not to over do, the alkaline drinking, otherwise your defence against bacteria, will be weakend. http://familydoctor.org/206.xml

The problem with everything these days, is one doesn't know who to believe, although one thing is sure, if it tastes good, enjoy it, but within moderation.

I suggest you purchase the cocktail drinks book, which i myself have done, and experiment with the green drinks, adding vinegar will make a difference, soem good, some bad, its all experimental, I've created 5 new vinegar cocktails, and ruined maybe 30, the acid curdles, some of the drinks.

Although the 5 i have, are really refreshing and new. are they healthy? Well, I believe so, when compared to fizzy drinks. Although many will disagree.
