why is my avatar so small while others have got a bigger one?
My account only allow avatar that is not more than 10kb! >.<

How many pixels on each side is your avatar? You can get about 100 x 100 (or a tad more) in a jpeg image and not exceed the total file size. Try sizing your photo to the above size and save as a jpeg and see what size file you get.
