Post by abbby » Sun, 28 Jan 2007 3:52 pm

I hear that VICCO tooth powder helps remove stains on teeth? Where can I find it besides Mustafa, and...is it really effective?? :o

Not real sure. My ancient MiL uses it on her only tooth! 1 left I think! So I cannot say for sure how good it is (it's hard to outpower a heavy Betel habit!)

Baking soda works good.

Good Luck.

Don't know if you happen to be a smoker Abby, but Eucryl (think that's the correct spelling) smokers toothpaste certainly does. I remember from the now distant days of being a smoker myself; at that time it was in powder form although I don't know about these days or whether it is still available and in addition in Singapore since I live in the UK.

Hi abbby

You can find VICCO in Selvi's Store, just outside Little India MRT Station (use the exit leading to Tekka Market)

or Jothi's store at Campbell Lane. Am not sure if its effective though

Alternatively you can try Meswak (I SWEAR by this brand) or Auromere (which is a tooth whitener) but I have yet to spot it in Little India :(

Cheers

Baking soda sounds cool, will give it a try.

Bernie: Let me know if you manage to source Meswek, no harming giving it a try.. :) :)

I don't smoke btw..

Hi abbby

Meswak can be found in most stores in Little India, if you exit at Little India MRT, look for Selvi's store as you come out, they have it there....

Cheers
Bernie
